Maxwell GeoServices is a global data management company, providing consultancy and services to the mining and exploration industry. We are seeking fieldies that would like a change and would like to try their hand at Geological Database Administration. Maxwell will provide comprehensive training in our leading geological database administration systems and the necessary general knowledge.  The position represents an opportunity to learn the best practice in data management and software solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Compilation and administration of geological and mining resource data
• Design and implementation of Access and SQL Server databases and interfaces
• Implementation and support for Maxwell software products
• Client communication and support.

Ideally you would have:

• Geological qualification or training - evidence required
• Experience in mining/or exploration geology logging
• Previous experience with geological databases preferable
• Willing and able to travel within Australia and overseas
• A high level of motivation and initiative
• Well developed interpersonal skills
• A high level of computer literacy
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Team player with excellent client focus
• Strong problem solving skills
• Knowledge of Maxwell Software products would be advantageous.
